Registration

To successfully register for a spot on the trip, you must:

  • complete the registration form and required information
  • secure your spot with a deposit or full payment and agree to terms of service
  • if using payment plan, pay balance of package cost
Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of any third-party products or services. If a product (such as fete ticket) is not availability at the time of your booking, we will do our best to find a substitute. If the substitute has a cost higher than the original option, the additional cost is to be covered by you.

Add-ons & Exclusions

Packages only include the items that are explicitly outlined as a part of your base package. However, you can request upgrades or add-ons to your package. All add-ons are subject to availability. All add-ons are FINAL sale, unless there is a third-party provider involved and that third party issues refunds. In either case, fees charged by us for researching or procuring those add-on services are non-refundable.

Available add-ons can include but are not limited to:

  • Additional fete tickets
  • Make-up/hair services
  • Local excursions
  • Extended accommodations
  • Carnival accessories
  • Airport transfer to/from alternative airports

Name & Date of Birth

It is your responsibility to provide accurate information. The name & date of birth provided must match that on your passport or government-issued ID. If there are any differences, you might be charged a fee by the hotel/accommodations provider or any of our other third-party providers. If you notice that there is an error with any information you have provided to us, please alert us by email as soon as possible and we will try to make any corrections before your arrival. If there are any issues that arise from inaccurate information, there will be no refunds from us.

Fete Changes, Rescheduling & Cancellations

This section applies to our carnival packages for which fetes are included as well as to fete booking services that are purchased as stand-alone packages or add-ons to existing packages. In the unlikely event that one or more of your selected events is rescheduled or cancelled, we are not responsible for reimbursement of the associated costs unless reimbursement is provided by the event organizer.

If you change your mind about an event after registration or securing an add-on, we will accommodate the request on a case-by-case basis, depending on if that ticket has already been secured.

Services fees paid for fete-booking packages/add-ons are non-refundable, even in the event that fete organizers elect to reimburse fete tickets.

Events Beyond Our Control

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, accident, pandemics/epidemics, natural disaster or acts of God.

In the event of a cancellation or postponement of an event/activity hosted by a third-party, our reimbursement policy will follow that of the third-party vendor/partner.

Events Beyond Our Control

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, accident, pandemics/epidemics, natural disaster or acts of God.

Communication During Trip

Proper communication is essential for a smooth trip experience. We will inform you of the main communication channel before the trip. It is your responsibility to monitor the communication channel for important updates throughout the trip.

Costume

The basic package includes a credit towards your carnival costume. Once you select your costume after band launch, the remaining balance of your costume will be due with your secondly monthly payment. If you aren’t on the payment plan or you have already made your second monthly payment, the costume balance will be due within 14 days of costume selection.

Once you have submitted your costume selection, no changes can be made. Upon placing the order, you acknowledge that we are unable to make changes to the costume ordered, including but not limited to the size, add-ons or any other feature of the costume selected by you.

If you end up cancelling your package, and have paid the full cost of the package, you can elect to sell your costume. However, finding and arranging a buyer will be your responsibility. Once you have found a buyer, you can alert us to arrange costume pickup.

Costume Terms & Change Requests

Costumes are custom-made based on the measurements you provided on registration and we have no control over how costumes may fit. Per the band’s policy, no changes can be made to your registration once your costume registration is submitted on the band’s website.

If on receipt, your costume does not fit as expected, we will assist you with changes where possible but cannot guarantee you of any changes. Additional fees (if any) charged by the band to accommodate any special requests will be paid by you.

You agree to the terms and conditions as set out by the band in which you are registered. Please visit the band’s website to review their terms and conditions.

Costume Pickup & Delivery

Costume delivery is typically included in standard carnival trip packages and also available as a standalone service. In either case,we cannot be held liable for the band and selected costume not being as depicted in their images. We are also not liable for any missing pieces and inaccuracies in appearance or fit such as sizing and colors.

Payment Plan

You can elect to pay the cost of your package with a full upfront payment or using our monthly payment plan. If you choose to use the payment plan, you will be send a payment schedule upon your initial deposit. Each month you will be sent an invoice for the payment due.

A deposit (or full payment) is required to secure your spot. This deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise stated. In general, your final payment will be due about 1 – 2 months before the first day of the trip. Your final payment deadline will be included on your invoices. However, your individual deadline that is included on your invoices will supersede the deadline stated on this website.

You agree to make full and final payment to us by the deadline, which will be included on your invoices/estimates/confirmation email. Where you fail to make full and final payment by this date, you forfeit all monies paid thus far with no recourse for reimbursement, recovery, or reparations. In addition, we may exercise the right to sell your spot to a third party without notice to you.

Each month, you will be sent an invoice which will state the amount due as well as the due date. You must make these payments until your balance is fully paid to continue “securing” your spot on the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address provided during registration remains active and functional in order to receive your invoices. You are also responsible for adding our email address [jumpnwine @ gmail.com] to your safe senders list for your email provider. We will not be held responsible if you miss a payment due to full or deactivated email inboxes or emails being sent to your spam or junk mail.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any non-refundable costs.

Late or Missed Payments

If you have a payment plan, payments are due on or before the due date stated on your invoice/estimate in order to continue “securing” your spot. Your payment must be paid in full by the due date to be considered paid on-time. If your payment is more than one (1) day late, you will be charged a late fee. If you miss a payment (more than 1 week late), your package will be cancelled and you will forfeit all monies paid thus far with no recourse for reimbursement, recovery, or reparations.

Refunds

All deposits and payments are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated. Several parts of your package are custom-made or prepaid, hence we do not usually issue any refunds after deposit or purchase.

Passport, Visa & Other Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to ensure that your travel documents, visas and any other requirements for travel, and enter into the country are valid and up-to-date. We are not responsible for denied entry into the country because you did not get the proper visa, vaccinations, passport, etc. If you are denied entry into the country and subsequently miss all or any part of the trip, you forfeit any monies paid with no recourse for reimbursement, recovery, or reparations.

Cancellations

Cancellation mean forfeiting your spot and previous monies paid. Deposits and any subsequent payments are non-refundable and, depending on your package, non-transferable. We highly recommend travel insurance to cover any non-refundable costs.

Transportation & Airport Transfers

Where relevant, you will be told the pick up and drop off times and locations before the trip. You are expected to be ready and at the locations at the specified time. Drivers reserve the right to leave the location if you are late in order to ensure the rest of the group arrives to and leaves on time.

If you decide to arrive to or depart from an activity early, or skip an activity, please alert us so we know not to expect you for that transportation. We are not responsible for transportation required by you should you miss the scheduled transportation for an activity in your package.

We reserve the right to amend transportation pick-up or drop-off times due to unforeseen circumstances or time adjustments by promoters.

If airport pick-up is included in your package, it is your responsibility to provide us with accurate flight information. It is also your responsibility to update us with any flight changes, including missed flights or last minute pre-departure flight delays. You will be provided the contact information for a member of our team and/or the driver for your airport transfer to keep us up-to-date for any last minute arrival or departure changes.

If airport transfer is included in your package, it is available on the first and last dates of the group trip. If you make plans to arrive before or after the trip travel dates, you can request airport transfer for that date but it is subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Transportation Packages

For a la carte transportation packages, you will typically have the option of public or private transportation.

  • Public Transportation: By selecting a public transportation package, you agree and accept that you are booking shared transportation to and from events with various groups of travelers, and some routes may have multiple pick-ups and drop-off locations. Transportation will be leaving promptly at the scheduled time in order to allow participants to fully enjoy all events. A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After 10 minutes, you will be considered a no-show, and the driver will depart without you. There will be no refunds for any no-shows.
  • Private Transportation: By selecting a private transportation package, you agree and accept that you are booking transportation for your group only that suits the group size provided. Though this allows you greater flexibility in terms of delays, you accept that you might be subject to late or delay fees if you make last-minute changes (less than 24 hours) that cause the driver to have extended wait times for you/your group or the driver has to cancel transportation with other groups. Last minute changes to your transportation package (e.g. group size, transportation times, etc) will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability and additional fees.
Carnival Traffic

During the carnival season, traffic might be unpredictable. If delays occur due to traffic, arrival and departure times might be affected. You will be kept informed via the main communication channel(s).

Accommodations

Packages that include accommodations will explicitly state that. You will have the option to choose a single, double, and in some cases, triple and quad occupancy, as long as spaces are still available.

In the case of double occupancy, electing to share a room means that you are agreeing to share a room with another trip participant who you might not know beforehand. You can also explicitly ask to share your room with a friend who is also signed up for one of our packages, as long as that package also includes accommodations and the request is mutual. Such requests should be made in the sign up form or via email.

Triple and Quad occupancy options are limited and are only allowed in the case that three or four friends mutually request to share a room, during sign up or via an email.

Roommate Matching Program

Our roommate matching program gives you the freedom to select the shared room (double and in some cases triple and quad) occupancy rate and keep your trip costs low. This program is available for those traveling alone, and who are willing to be matched with another traveler.

  1. Those purchasing a double occupancy package can expect to be matched with one roommate, those purchasing a triple occupancy package will be matched with two roommates, and those purchasing a quad will be matched with three roommates.
  2. Should our team be unable to find a roommate match, you will be assessed the charge of the single occupancy package.

Your decision to accept a roommate for the travel event is at your own risk.  We are not responsible nor liable for any and all claims or cause of action arising out of or in connection with your selection of a roommate for the travel event. This includes without limitation, any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from such request or selection.

If you are interested in the roommate matching program, you can indicate interest in the registration process.

Guests

Bringing outside guests to your room is subject to the hotel’s unregistered guest policy. External guests, meaning persons who are not signed up for the trip, cannot participate in exclusive group activities or receive package benefits, such as transportation or package pickup, unless they purchase those services separately. If you are in a shared accommodations, you must ensure to get agreement from your roommates, preferably in writing such as via text.

Age Restrictions

At the time of registration for the trip, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the minimum drinking age of the destination country, whichever is older.

Media

Footage and images taken by us or any of our partners may include you. These can include fetes/parties, parades, group activities, etc.

We reserve the right to use these for future marketing purposes and any of our online and offline media channels.

Responsibility

We carefully monitor all of the information presented on our site; however, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions resulting in inventory, content, or pricing discrepancies. The details shown, including any pictures, are for informational purposes only. Your exact price depends upon selected packages, add ons and customization. All special offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Additional restrictions may apply. All prices and dates may not be available at time of booking. All information is subject to change without notice.

We assume no responsibility for property loss or damage, nor liability for injury, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect in any vehicle or the acts of any company or persons engaged in conveying the passengers to or from their accommodations, or occur on the premises of your accommodations.

In addition, if a third-party provider is unable to provide their service, such as delayed costume delivery for carnival, we cannot be held liable for breach of contract. Reimbursements will only be issued if done by the third-party provider.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to deny or revoke service or participation privilege to any guest for any reason deemed necessary. This includes any circumstance where the health or wellbeing of any or all guests is threatened or endangered.
