The carnival tabanca is real but St. Lucia Carnival and Jump & Wine Travel are here to save the day. Our Caribbean carnivals are coming back, slowly but surely. St. Lucia Carnival will return in July 2022.

Why Atlanta Dekalb Carnival?
ATL Dekalb Carnival 2022 is one of the largest carnivals in the United States, and North America. It’s a great way to satisfy your carnival tabanca while we wait for the islands to get back to having carnival. Atlanta has a large Caribbean population so many bands and fetes are owned by persons from the Caribbean.
Since Atlanta Dekalb Carnival is smaller than the carnival in the islands, it’s a smaller strain on your pocket while still getting to have the time of your life. Who doesn’t love value for your money?!
Plus, if you are based in the United States, no passport necessary. You might even be able to drive over.
Ladies, Jump & Wine is for you!
Ladies, if you’re tired of waiting on your friends or simply want someone else to do all planning, Jump & Wine Travel is designed for you. This trip is for you if:
- you love a good party
- your ideal trip consists of the perfect mix of partying and exploring a culture
- you don’t like stress and like having that handled for you
Unfortunately, if you are below the legal drinking age (18 y.o.) or not vaccinated for COVID-19, we cannot accommodate you on this trip.
If you are looking for a slower paced trip or do not like crowds, consider one of our wine trips.
The Itinerary
Day one – Arrival in St. Lucia
Arrive in St. Lucia to let the fun begin. We’ll pick you up from the airport and take you to your villa where your welcome gift and costume package await you. We recommend arriving by 5pm.
Meet your fellow carnivalistas for some welcome drinks, before we head out to Gros Islet Friday Night Lime, a St. Lucia tradition.
Day one & two – Fete it up!
Get ready to party like there’s no tomorrow. Ideally, you arrived in St. Lucia with your waist loosened but if not, these fetes will be great prep for the parades on Monday & Tuesday. You should already be learning the latest soca. FYI, Jump & Wine is #teamnosleep. Sleep who?!
Day three – J’ouvert & Monday Mas
We’ll start the day early with paint, mud and some oil at j’ouvert. Then, we clean up and don our costumes, beat our faces, take some cute pics and get ready to wine up yourself on the streets to the sweet, sweet sounds of soca.
Day four – Tuesday Parade
The party continues! Playin’ mas is so good, you get to do it twice, this time wearing your Tuesday wear, i.e., what you want. N.B.: Due to the pandemic, Tuesday Parade might not happen in 2022. If not, we’ll explore St. Lucia’s beauty instead and go to a fete.
Day five – Local excursion
You’ll need a vacation from your vacation and we’re in no rush to go home. Today we’ll have fun exploring St. Lucia, including some beach time and making chocolate.
Day six – Depart St. Lucia
All good things must come to an end. It’s time to reflect on the memories we just made together and say our goodbyes. Hopefully, we’ll see you on another of our trips.

- flights/transportation to St. Lucia
- carnival accessories
- travel insurance (highly recommended)
- room service or meals
- vaccinations or travel documents required to travel to Atlanta or participate in events

FAQ
You can reserve your spot as soon as trips are published on our website. We recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure your spot is secured. Your spot is not reserved until a deposit (+ payment plan agreement) or full payment is received.
Your final price will be based on your package selection and any add-ons or upgrades.
Of course! The default package only includes accommodations for the trip dates, but if you arrive before or leave after, you can arrange your own accommodations for the extra days or we can extend your accommodations depending on availability. Airport transfer is also subject to availability.
The package covers the dates listed. You can stay for part of or the entirety of the trip, however the package price remains the same.
